It produce copious attractive yellow flowers with bright yellow rays dropping around the doomed central disk. It reach up to 5 feet and preferes clay to sandy loam soil in full sun. I can tolerate a large range of soil moisture levels and is tolerate of drought and poor soil. Planting near other tall plants or shrubs will help prevent them from falling over.
